Please note: EFA does not provide legal immigration advice and does not guarantee visa approval. Visa outcomes, embassy timelines and federation/league approvals are outside EFA's control. If a player's visa is rejected and they cannot participate in the placement, they may be eligible for a refund of the full-season placement package, excluding visa/government fees and any completed EFA Player Representation work. Full conditions are set out in the placement agreement.

Will I be officially registered with a club?

What type of team could I be placed in?

Depending on the player's age, level, eligibility and club availability, the placement may be within a youth A/B/C team, senior C/D team, or another appropriate team structure.

Is this a scholarship?

No. This is not a scholarship.

Is this a professional contract?

No. This is not a professional contract and should not be promoted as one.

Will EFA promote me on social media?

No, not automatically. This pathway is not treated as a scholarship, signing or professional contract announcement.

Can I still earn an opportunity from this?

Yes. Players are placed into real club environments where they can prove themselves, develop, compete and potentially move through the club structure or earn future opportunities. However, this is not guaranteed.

Does this guarantee match minutes?

No. Match minutes are decided by the club and coaching staff.

Does this guarantee a future offer?

No. Future offers depend on the player's level, performance, attitude, behaviour, availability, eligibility and club decisions.

How much does the 10-month season cost?

Full-season placement costs generally range from €25,000–€50,000+ depending on the club, team level, accommodation, food package, registration structure and support required.

Is EFA Player Representation included?

No. EFA Yearly Player Representation is not included in the full-season fee and must be active before placement can proceed.

Are flights included?

No. Flights are not included unless stated in writing.

Are visa costs included?

No. Visa/government fees are not included unless stated in writing.

Do I need visa support if I have an EU passport?

Generally, no. Players with an EU passport usually do not require the same visa process.

What happens if my visa is rejected?

If a player's visa is rejected and they cannot compete or participate in the placement, they may be eligible for a refund of the full-season placement package, excluding visa/government fees and any completed EFA Player Representation work. Full conditions are confirmed in the placement agreement.

Can I choose the club?

Families can share preferences, but final options depend on the player's level, age, eligibility, club availability, timing, suitability and EFA's professional opinion.

What if I want a specific club or higher-level team?

If a family wants EFA to use deeper relationship leverage, senior-level conversations or more specialised targeting for a specific club/team level, that may fall under the Senior Pathway Management upgrade.

Is this available for both male and female players?

Yes, where suitable club pathways are available.

Is this only for Spain?

Spain is the main focus, with other verified overseas club pathways available where suitable.
