No BS compared to other trials we have been too - smaller groups compared to mass groups where no one is being watched and just a money grab - great drills - real coaches who know what they are looking at - feedback honest - constant clear communication- friendly EFA team
The fact that it’s super organised and the “real deal”. If you have any questions, or concerns, Maurice and other staff are available for an open, honest, no “sugar coating” chat of what is expected and how they operate.
An example of how I knew EFA would be the right choice: I applied online a week before the trial and contacted EFA immediately, as I was worried the kit wouldn’t arrive. I received a text and email back almost immediately and received the kit via express post the next day. I had the honour of chatting to Maurice (as I didn’t want to bother the EFA staff and coaches while the event was ongoing), and he laid out everything from how EFA operates, to how they put your child’s best interest forward. EFA has the experience, so it’s purely up to your child to show his abilities.
We feel this trial was professional, built on experiences of a professional agency, coaches, and scouts. Taking video footage to review, taking time to consider all players I feel is definitely a more professional approach than we have been used to seeing at other trials.
Others definitely don't have the personal touch the honesty it shines through with EFA
We have done similar things but not to this level.
The coaches were very good and engaged well with the boys, pushing them throughout the session. In many trials in Australia, coaches usually just stand and watch.
