But what about FIFA article 19?

When dealing with FIFA Article 19, which restricts the transfer of players under 18, there are certain exceptions, such as:

Parental relocation

Transfers within the EU/EEA (EU passport holders, ages 16–18)

Proximity to borders

However, here’s what most people don’t realise… in our experience, when a club is truly interested in a player, they’ll find ways to work within those rules.

For example: while Article 19 applies to “contracts,” simply changing the wording to something like a “scholarship” allows the player to join without issue, often on something as simple as a student visa.

And that’s just one example. We’ve built strategies with our partner clubs that go even further, but we keep that part exclusive for our players, because we know it’s not just parents watching what we do.

The bottom line: Article 19 isn’t a dead end. It’s just a framework. And when a player is good enough, there’s always a compliant pathway to get them in the system early.
